Protein electrophoresis is a protein analysis technique, which can be divided into two groups, including native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (Native-PAGE) and sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). Native-PAGE keeps proteins intact during electrophoresis and separates them in a gradient based on their molecular weight, and the secondary, tertiary as well as quaternary structure. But SDS-PAGE separates proteins only by protein’s mass. Yeasen provides ready-to-use precast protein plus gels which do not contain SDS and can be used for both natural and denatured protein electrophoresis.
